Doula & Birthkeeper Andalusia | Soulguidance.

In these pictures you can see me working as a doula, I often combine this with birth photography (the perfect combo). It`s not just a job, it feels more like one of my soul paths.

A doula is NOT medically trained, she is there to provide emotional support to the birthing couple. A familiar face with whom you already feel a good click in advance, together you make a list of birth preferences, go over different breathing and relaxation techniques and see what the options are for you. (location, e.g. water birth, different positions, labor itself, etc.)

As soon as the mother wishes, she is a constant throughout the birth process. She literally complements where needed and this differs for everyone. One mother likes to be touched (super for the production of oxytocin) this can be done through massage techniques, rebozo, light touch, counter pressure sacred leg. The other mom does not like to be touched but would like to be surrounded by a good and trusted birthing team who can ensure the sacred concept of "holding space" for her during their birthing process. So there is something for everyone.

I can best describe myself as an empath who works very intuitively, I don't need many words to feel what the mother's needs are. Personally, I also find it extremely important that the father is involved in the birth process as much as possible and is not just a spectator! (speaking from experience)

A doula is not only for a home birth, also in a hospital she can be a great asset to you as a couple. Quote from a dad: Unbelievable how you helped F. realize her dream today and got everyone in the room on board with the idea of letting nature take its course as much as possible and not to force anything.

I myself am mom of three beautiful daughters, two were born in the hospital where not everything went according to plan. Our last daughter was born at home, a very tough but at the same time dream birth. Meanwhile I have a pretty full backpack because I am a birthlight (pregnancy yoga) & hypnobirthing teacher. Because I am also a photographer by training, you can get beautiful images of your birth story afterwards if you wish!

We agree on a time when I am standby for you, and I am also available via whatsapp. If desired, we will work together to find a back up doula that suits you. :)

And may I tell you a little secret? These last few months it almost feels like my job as a doula is a disguise for what’s laying underneath.

Through this work I developed myself as a lightworker, I found a way to communicate even More on soul level through holistic pulsing and energy work before birth takes place.

It’s amazing what’s coming out of these sessions and I could do this work all day everyday till the end of times. 🔥

I could describe my job more as soulguidance.🦋

Such a transformative and intense times, not only for them but also for myself. Super grateful for all this. 🦋🔥🌅♥️✨

TOP YOGASTUDIO EN DOULA!

Julie offers a wide range of activities with a focus on women and baby/children. She teaches her yoga classes with love and pays attention to each participant. You can do the exercises at your own pace and ability, Julie creates an atmosphere where you only focus on your own limits and do not mirror others.

I would definitely recommend the hypnobirthing and doula counseling classes. I am so glad I chose this for my 2nd pregnancy after a traumatic first delivery. On top of that, she was also able to capture this beautifully on film as a professional photographer. Merci Julie! Most beautiful experience of my life!

I chose Julie's expert support as our doula for the birth of our second child. This time, I wanted to create the atmosphere in which our child would be born myself and Julie helped me with that very well: pregnancy yoga, tips on hypnobirthing (conscious and relaxed childbirth), figuring out together which postures are relaxing, help with the birth and beautiful photos of the whole event! An indispensable total package!

Julie was the reason we chose to give birth at the birth center: in her eyes I saw the confidence in me that I did not yet have. She also helped me work towards this and made me believe in myself. Invaluable!

Although she probably doesn't fully realize it herself, she brings out the primal "sisterhood" that is deep within all women. A wonderful bond full of love and support!

I recommend it to everyone! Julie's contribution is truly gold!

Had a wonderful trip thanks to Julie! I got to experience it all. The pregnancy yoga that physically prepared my body for childbirth, the hypnobirthing that mentally prepared us as a couple and then on our 2nd pregnancy she was there as a helpful doula. She brought out that inner strength within me to have the birth I wanted and reassured me when I had concerns. She is a very sweet, caring fellow mom, very open and welcoming. If there was anything, I could always call her! Choosing her as a doula was the best decision I made. Our family is very grateful for her help for our most special day of our lives ❤️En for anyone reading this: a doula is definitely not a luxury!!!google : Studiomoonbirth 4/4/2021

My husband and I wanted to take a course to prepare for the birth of our first daughter. So we ended up with Julie for the course conscious and active childbirth (hypnobirthing).Blessed, relaxing and informative classes. I discovered that Julie also taught pregnancy yoga and so I signed up for that as well. I really enjoyed the conscious me time together with the mini in my belly.Julie is so passionate in everything she does. Such a warm person. Hugely committed to her moms she mentors. It clicked from the beginning and we became good friends as the weeks progressed. My husband and I had already decided we wanted to give birth at home if everything went well. Julie is also a trained photographer so we decided that we wanted her to be there to capture the birth and meeting with our daughter forever.Julie was present for almost the entire delivery. She was able to photograph the most beautiful moments for us, for which we are eternally grateful. The photos are subtle and spontaneous. They perfectly convey our whole adventure of home birth.Besides being a photographer, Julie also became my Doula. It was a long, hard labor and Julie pulled me through it, along with my husband. She held my hand, motivated me and supported me. Without words. Thanks in part to her support, I regained my strength and labor ended well.Thank you Julie!!Love,Céline
